Lehigh County Mental Health/Mental Retardation was working with a system that was not able to respond to their data collection and reporting needs in a timely fashion. State reporting requirements can change quickly, but the system could not.  Tidgewell Associates' specialists collaborated successfully with Lehigh County to design a data warehouse, importers, exporters and reports that augmented the system in place.  Ultimately, the County decided they wanted something that could respond to all of their needs and respond quickly.  Working closely with the county, our specialists developed TAI BHIS™ (Behavioral Health Integrated System), which has a single entry point for multiple divisions within the county.   The system empowers the county staff to work efficiently and to take control of their Medicaid Behavioral Health data, reducing reliance on an outside vendor.  By using Tidgewell specialists, the county was able to put in place a system that manages all aspects of their human services operation from clinical to financial and all reporting requirements as well. Tidgewell Associates continues to work with the county as a partner, providing the desired level of service, for as long as the county chooses.

HHM of Rhode Island, a behavioral health management company, investigated existing behavioral health and managed care software and found none that could do the job they needed even with costly customization.  The challenge was to develop a claims adjudication system to support its complex business logic. Under very tight implementation time frames, Tidgewell Associates’ software developers engineered a solution which allowed HHM to implement a complex commercial contract with ease.  The contract involved the use of wrap around services and a case rated method of payment.  Staff from Tidgewell Associates Inc accomplished this task in a very short time frame.  This system was up and running within 90 days, making it possible for HHMRI to implement a seamless transition for the members and providers of the health plan.
